Happy October Sundance!
Another month has come and gone, and we are excited to see what Fall has in store for us.
In the month of October, schools across the country celebrate Red Ribbon Week. This is a time for us to highlight the importance of living a drug-free life. Officer Jarrod and I will team up to educate students on these important topics. We will be focusing on responsible decision making and making
healthy choices. It is an awesome time for the students to understand the negative effects these choices can have; not only our bodies, but our lives.
We will have a theme week October 23rd-27th. Each day will be a different dress-up theme to have fun while we pledge to be drug free! There will be a flyer that comes home letting you know what the theme is for each day. Our theme this year will be “Be kind to your mind. Live drug free.” It will be a great time to get our students on board and excited about a drug-free life!
